Bidding for the Silent & Live Auctions

The Spooktacular sale will feature two auctions:

The Silent Auction will will be open to in person attendees of the sale as well as online Instagram bidders.

The Live Auction happens in real time for in person attendees and will be streamed online on Instagram at our account @NorCalCSA.

Read below to specific bidding times, instructions and requirements:

Silent Auction

In Person Bidding

Attendees at the sale may bid on a plant by writing their higher bid on the bid sheet. The increased bid amount must be at least the Minimum Bid Increment higher than the previous highest bid.

Preview: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm (Pacific Time)
Bidding: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm (Pacific Time)

Online Bidding

Silent auction plants will be posted on our Instagram account @NorCalCSA. Each post will show 3 plants identified with numbers (#).

The highest bids must be entered by 3:30 pm (Pacific Time) as a dollar amount. Include the # of the plant with your bid. Bid amounts entered after the 3:30 pm cut-off time will not be valid.

Online Preview: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm (Pacific Time)
Online Bidding: 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm (Pacific Time)

Live Auction

In Person Bidding

Dinner and Auction: 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm (Pacific Time)

All bidders must purchase a dinner ticket which includes a bidder number.

Dinner tickets are $28. per person.

Dinner options are chicken, beef or vegetarian.

Send ticket purchase and meal requests by email to NorCalCSA@gmail.com.

Winners of auctioned items can take them home at the end of the auction.

Online Bidding

Live Stream Bidding: 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm (Pacific Time)

The auction will be streamed using our Instagram account @NorCalCSA

Online bidders must have a bidder number to participate in the streamed live auction. Request a number by email at NorCalCSA@gmail.com.

Winners of auctioned items will be contacted to arrange shipping or delivery. If not shipped, plants can be picked up in the San Francisco and Los Angeles areas. Plants can also be delivered in the SF Bay Area.
